Quality time
Shared attention can matter more than the length of time spent together. Being in the same room is not always the same as feeling accompanied.
What you might notice
You might value an uninterrupted walk, a shared meal or a hobby more than an elaborate outing. Notice whether the important part is conversation, a shared activity, or simply being present.
A practical starting point
Agree on a small pocket of time that works for both people. Put away distractions if you both want to, and ask what would make that time enjoyable rather than creating another obligation.
Keep the distinction clear
Wanting focused time does not mean every free moment belongs to the relationship. Care and personal space can coexist.
